Pre Playa Checklist
Things to do BEFORE you get in your car headed for the playa
Here you will find a short list of things to remember to bring to the event that will make your life as a Ranger much more manageable.
- Print out the Ranger Radio form, fill it out, and have it with you before you go to Ranger HQ
This will speed the process of you getting your radio when you get on playa and check in at Ranger HQ.

- Have an idea of the days that you want to work.
Even if you don't sign up, it is good to see if there are any days where you just can't Ranger.
- Check out the city map... learn the streets.
It's so nice to know where the Shift Leads are sending you. You can find the map on the Burning Man website.
- Dust masks and good goggles.
This year could prove to be one of the dustiest in a while, be prepared to deal with the dust.
- Most important... your sense of humor.
