Test. Please ignore.
(However, if you want to be contrary and choose not to ignore this message, that is up to you. I’m not the boss of you.)
It’s still not showing up, fwiw. Thinking we need more magic elves.
The BM Tech team has been contacted and this request is most likely not high on their list of tasks to tackle immediately after the burn. I believe the Tapatalk functionality can wait a couple more weeks.
Indeed that is the beast (not to be confused with Beast). Their simple installation isn’t and I need to ping the BM Tech team for some backend magic.
Computers are silly and fickle creatures.
Let me know when you want more info from me for trouble-shooting iPhone interface to the forums–it’s really not usable for me at the moment. I can’t actually see/edit most of edit box via iPhone.
I just spent some quality time with the system and have updated a number of things on the back- and front-end. This should also include the issues some of you are experiencing on your Jobsian iDevices. Please do let me know if you are having any persistent issues around this.
I’ve noticed some of you are trying to post photos as attachments that go beyond the set maximum file size limit. I’ve kicked up the restriction up to 1MB. That should solve some of you woes. Any other woes will be handled in the order in which they are received.
Under you User Account (as shown in the image you previously attached), you can change the displayed name under, “Display name publicly as” or simply update the Nickname field.
All your account information is what you put into it when you set up your account, there isn’t any data that is being picked up else where. The forum is not tied into the Secret Clubhouse or any other site.
And landscape isn’t much better. Suppose it cuts off *less* of the text box at the expense of vertical space, and using the landscape keyboard. If word wrap/screen fit worked, that might be a reasonable trade-off.
Well, huh. I’m using the same iOS and can’t replicate the issues you’re having. The attached image is what it looks like on my Jobsian device.
Any site changes are going to happen once we’re showered and ensconced after the event. If y’all have additional observations, please let me know so that I can add them to my list of fixes.

I recently started posting/responding (YAY for participation!) and am trying to figure out how to edit my comments. I was able to edit one of them but now that I go back I cannot. I have another comment I want to edit but cannot as well.
The option to edit your comments is closed after a set period of time. Why? Sometimes there are grammatical mistakes or the occasional typo that needs to be fixed directly after you post your response. I know that happens to me frequently. Having that window of opportunity allows you to go in and fix it.
So why not extend that indefinitely? There’s something to be said about owning your words and rewriting history. Changing or deleting posts from a conversation greatly ruins the discussion for those reading the thread later. That’s all sorts of lamesauce when a person self-censors the thread because they were unhappy with something they wrote drunk or emotionally charged.
In summary, for a brief period after you send your post you can edit the heck out of it. Anything longer and your words are cast in virtual stone…or until you write a new post denying everything you just said.

Bumblebee, you raised a really good use case I hadn’t thought of, which is replying to an individual. Has anyone found a way to do that with the forums?
With private communications (we don’t have private messaging on the site currently), you may find the person’s email you’d like to respond to off the forums by selecting their name/avatar. It’ll bring you to their account page that includes their email address (plus any other optional social network they may have included.
